  2. What is still life drawing? • Drawing items which are not moving and have no life • eg Tea pot and a mug cup on a Table.

  3. What is composition? • It is the way items are arranged on the table or paper. • Should be arranged in overlapping manner and fill almost the whole paper.

  4. Steps to follow when drawing • Identify the basic shapes and do the sketch. • Improve the sketch by working on the real shapes of the items. • Indicate the tones with faint marks of course maintain one source of light. • Then start shading the items. As you do consider the colours and texture of items • Avoid inclusion of labels and other unnecessary marks on the items. • Finish your work by shading the shadows opposite the source of light. • Lastly perfect the images especially on the edges. • Rub the pencil marks on the negative of the paper.
