  2. Summer Activities for Kids • Nature Walk • Distribute a list of things in nature (Ex: tulip, dandy lion, acorn) • Take children on a 10-15 minute walk to find as many objects on the list as they can • Discuss each object and its role in nature

  3. Summer Activities for Kids • Bird Watching • Distribute a list of 10-12 different birds (ex: Robin, Cardinal, Blue jay) • Have the children take the list with them whenever they are outside • Check off the birds they spot

  4. Summer Activities for Kids • Design a Garden • Assign partners • Have each group bring in one potted plant/flower • Design a garden layout • Plant plants/flowers
