5. SAP Leave FYI The leave calendar year begins with the first full pay period in January and ends with the pay period that includes December 31st.

begins on 01/05/08 and ends on 01/02/09
Leave accrues on a biweekly basis throughout the year. Leave is not front-ended at the beginning of each calendar year.

8. SAP Leave on Pay Statement Please be aware that any future leave that is input into SAP will be subtracted from the current leave balance. This will appear on the pay statement after the pay period for which the leave was input into SAP.

14. SAP Timekeepers are not responsible to follow up on faculty or staff not turning in leave slips, unless you are the supervisor of the employee.

16. Employee Self Service (ESS) Allows employees to review their personnel information on-line.
Web-based service, which allows employees to log into a web portal to view their own data in the Human Resources/Payroll Systems of SAP.
The level of security is similar to accessing commercial sites such as your bank and requires secured password access.

19. ESS Step 1:
Employee user name is the same username that is used for the LHUP network
(i.e. lgray@lhup.edu).
Employee temporary password will be the standard initial password assigned when the LHUP computer/email was created(i.e. temp!x00)
eTimekeepers should use their current eTime password to access ESS.

Before attempting to log into the ESS web portal, you are required to change your password. This can be done by visiting the Active Directory Self-Service webpage at https://password.passhe.edu. Please use these important instructions, which will guide you through the process.

23. Student Employment - Eligibility Students must be enrolled in at least six credits per semester.
All paperwork must be completed prior to beginning employment.
No student may work for or be supervised by an immediate member of his/her family.
24. Student Employment - Eligibility Students are permitted to work 20 hours per week.
Students employees cannot work on campus upon completion of their degree.
Student trainers are available to assist new students with E-time.

25. Student Employment - E-time Bi-weekly audits will be conducted for all students with unapproved time in E-time.
When approving hours in E-time the total hours and approved hours could be different.
If a student enters and deletes hours, the total hours entered accumulates on the screen.
The approved hours in E-time should match the timesheet.
