Gujarat is renowned for its industrial prowess, and electronics and gadget clusters have organically grown in Morbi, Jamnagar, and Mundra in Saurashtra as well as in Dholera and areas of South Gujarat. Dholera is being constructed as a metropolis modelled after Silicon Valley as a result. A Semicon City will be established in the Dholera Special Investment Region (Dholera SIR), and all eligible projects will receive subsidies totaling 75% of the cost of the first 200 acres of land and 50% of the cost of additional land needed for fab projects, upstream/downstream, and other projects authorised under the ISM.
