  3. Understand the performance: Always be alert while working with conveyor belts. Labels sticking on conveyor belt and bent guardrail could be a sign for caution. Check the bearings: Using a metal tip check if the conveyor belt is making noise. If it runs smoothly you can hardly hear any sound. Keep the tools in place: While fixing a Hytrol conveyor keep a 9/16” wrench, Leatherman type and ½” wrench. Most of your problem will be solved using multi-tools.

  4. Check photo eyes: Most common problem that arises could be due to a partially aligned photo eyes. Even though the photo eye is not aligned properly it can still reflect the beam. Remember that a photo eye positioned at the center of the reflector means it is properly aligned. In case it is sticking to one edge there is always a risk of it falling off. Check the switches: Make sure that the switch of the motor power is turned off.

  5. Nothing wrong: Move the box forward if you are not able to figure out the glitch. Stick a note in the place where the issue was noted so that you can identify the location next time when the same thing happens and you can fix it quickly. Take adequate notes on the problems that occurred. The more information you gather about the machine, you are aware of its functioning. You can also snap some pictures or take a video of the problem. It can help present the problem in a better way.
