So, if you are planning a San Diego vacation, or visiting the town for a conference or meeting, ensure you don’t miss these. Explore Old Town From an old Victorian houses to the supposedly haunted colonial buildings, there is a lot to see in Old Town. San Diego experience would be incomplete without walking around and exploring it. Stop by Old Town Mexican Café to have some fresh homemade tortillas, too. Old Town is a fun place to stay while visiting San Diego that is often more affordable than staying right downtown or by the beach, but still gives one a quintessential San Diego vibe. Eat a Baja Fish Taco San Diego's Baja fish tacos are legendary with their delicious crispy fried outside layer and tangy white sauce, generous heaping of cabbage and salsa fresca, and occasionally cheese.
