2. Headed To San Diego If you're headed to San Diego soon, you may be wondering what to pack. San Diego is known for its gorgeous, comfortable climate. Although everyday isn't perfect, San Diego certainly gets its fair share. The predictable weather makes packing for San Diego easy, but don't make the mistake of not packing enough and being caught unprepared.

If you are planning to be outside much during your stay, you will appreciate having a pair of UV blocking sunglasses as well. A hat with a brim will also make your sightseeing trips more pleasant. Along with sun protection, a refillable water bottle to slip in your bag can save you money and time.

San Diego has over 70 miles of beaches, making them popular destination points for visitors. Depending on the time of year, you may want a swimsuit, towel and bag, a windbreaker, or, if you plan on doing some surfing, a wet suit. 

6. Lifestyle in San Diego As far as the type of clothing you will need while in San Diego, it really depends on your reason for being in the city. San Diego is, however, generally a casual town. If you plan to spend some time out on the town at night you may want to pack a few dressy items. Generally, you will feel perfectly at ease wearing business casual attire in restaurants. You can be even more casual visiting tourist destinations, with shorts and casual tops being common attire. San Diego is a highly walk-able town, so be sure to pack at least one pair of comfortable walking shoes.
