However, it is vital to make sure that they are realistic, achievable and time bound.   Help the kids to channelize their efforts towards achieving an aim.  Gives purpose to life. Enhances the ability of a child to plan ahead. Improves their problem solving and decision making skills. Teaches kids how to use their time effectively and responsibly.
