Interview Question: • Q: Suppose an upset customer walks into Home Depot after a bad experience with a competitor. He brings you paint he got from Lowes, and asks you to match the color of the paint but in a different gloss. How would you assist him?
Ideal Answer • A strong answer would make the customer feel like he picked the right hardware store to come to. You would address his needs along with any questions and concerns the customer has. • Customer Service Includes: • Discuss options (Quality, Quantity, Cost) • Discuss different brands of paint • Match the color of the paint, or adjust if need be • Ask if the customer if he needs accessories • Help answer other questions • Check to see if there are any sales or promotions available of any paint options • Ask if he needs help with anything else in the store
