  1. It is a great deal of debate among the people that whether a new cabling installation should use cat5e or cat6 cable. Here is a small solution for you.

  2. Cat5e Cat5e can support gigabit speed. It is used in most of the applications. It is perfectly suitable preferable to cat6. It is more economical and performs almost as well as cat6.

  3. Cat6 Cat6 is certified to handle gigabit Ethernet. Additionally, the Cat6 specification is better suited toward environments that are usually unfriendly to twisted pair cabling. This includes areas that have lots of interference from things like power lines, lights, and manufacturing equipment. If all the components of your network are gigabit rated then you can use Cat6 cable.
