  1. Cleaning the Bowl and Stem BY CHAMELEON GLASS 1. Wash and wipe down the stem. After you've completed cleaning the pipe's body, grab the stem and run it under hot water. 2. Put the stem in a tiny Ziploc bag and seal it. Place the stem in the bag's bottom, leaving the top wide open. Because the stem does not hold water like the pipe, it must be cleaned in a separate container. 3. Pour the alcohol-salt solution into the bag. Use one part salt to two parts alcohol once more. Carefully squeeze excess air out of the bag and close the top. 4. Slosh the bag until the stem is clean Shake the bag from side to side while holding it by the top and bottom. Massage the stem lightly with the tips of your fingers while you shake. 5. Remove and rinse the stem. Pour the unclean alcohol-salt solution out of the bag. Retrieve the stem and wash it once more in hot water. Allow the stem to air dry alongside the pipe. Read More at: CHAMELEONGLASS.COM
