While I was planning for the surprise gateway, I had given notice about that to my office 15 days ago so that they can manage in absence of me. If you have pets, in that case, give the responsibility to take care of it a few weeks ago to someone who is sincere and responsible. Otherwise, it will be difficult for you if you want to give the responsibility at the last moment. When I planned for the gateway I give the responsibility of my pet cat to my sister who also owns 2 cats. Plan your Journey: Before traveling to the place make an itinerary or travel summary about where and how your journey going to take place. For example, if you want to dine in a particular restaurant, give the reservation and note it down as surprising point in your travel summary. Make your story believable: While taking her to the surprise gateway make a strong cover story so that you can give her surprise without blowing up the story. Your plan needs to be realistic enough so that she cannot doubt that. I made up my story by telling her that we are going to visit a friend of mine who has started a rental business in Manzanita.
