  4. Facilities The Sands Hostel kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking requirements, including pots with handles, plates and cutlery – with no hire charges. You will have a designated food shelf for your bed and an allocated shelf in one of our two fridges.

Surf and weather • Located amongst some of the best beaches in the world, Coolangatta and the Gold Coast is not just all about the surf, but let’s be honest, it is a big reason to visit our shores. Local surf Breaks “Snapper Rocks” and “D-Bah” are the home surf breaks to some of the world’s best surfers – Mick Fanning and Stephanie Gilmore.
