  2. Peripheral Neuropathy, also known as Diabetic Nerve Pain, is a condition that causes debilitating pain to millions of Americans. It is a chronic condition where the body’s nerves no longer function properly. And since the nerves are used by your brain to control not only what is happening within your body but also how your body interacts within your environment, it prevents YOU from functioning properly. This condition is usually the result of diabetes and can form anywhere in the body. However, it is most likely to affect the limbs such as the legs, feet, arms and hands. Peripheral Neuropathy affects people differently. Some people only feel mild symptoms such as minor tingling or numbness in their limbs. Other people suffer symptoms that are far more significant such as digestive problems, heart and blood vessel issues and severe infections. It is a terrible condition that not only prevents many people from living a normal life but sometimes leads to death when major organs are significantly impacted. It must be dealt with as soon as possible or you may find yourself in a horrible place. Not sure if you have Peripheral Neuropathy? Well let’s take a look at some of its most common symptoms: •One of them is numbness. For instance, sometimes you may not be able to feel your feet while walking. Other times, you will feel a tingling sensation in your hands and/or feet. These symptoms can lead to a loss of balance and coordination, making it harder to walk and move around. •Another common symptom is the experience of different kinds of pain that come suddenly and are of the sharp, throbbing and shooting variety. They can sometimes feel like they come from an electrical current. Or they may make you feel like you are getting stabbed with a knife. Other times you will feel cramping, such as in your hand when you’re holding a pen or a fork. These cramps can get so bad that you unintentionally drop whatever you are holding. •Exaggerated sensations, such as burning sensations, are also something to watch out for. For example, a cup of hot chocolate that is just warm to the touch for most people will feel painfully hot to you. On the flip side, you may also notice that your hands and feet are cold for no apparent reason. •Extreme sensitivity to touch is yet another symptom of Peripheral Neuropathy. This sensitivity can worsen at night. It can get so bad, in fact, that even your bedsheets will feel heavy and painful to you. Your ability to get quality sleep will be reduced considerably, negatively impacting your even health further. 2

  3. •On the opposite end of the sensitivity scale you may not feel any injury or pain at all when you absolutely should. This occurs when nerve damage is significant. This lack of feeling can lead to sores or blisters on your feet and other places that you can’t rationalize or explain. Or worse, you can scald yourself with hot water, causing significant burns while not even noticing. This lack of a pain response is very dangerous since it can prevent you from recognizing problems that may need medical attention. Peripheral Neuropathy is not a joke. If any of these symptoms are familiar to you, then quick action must be taken. If left untreated, this terrible condition will only get worse, leading to more serious health problems including amputation, organ failure and even death. There is no known cure at this point, but fortunately, there are ways to treat it naturally. In fact, many of them are just simple lifestyle changes! Let’s learn about them so you can start improving your life today! How to Treat Peripheral Neuropathy Naturally 1.Manage Blood Sugar Levels There is no better way to control diabetic nerve pain than to manage your blood sugar levels. Healthy blood sugar levels couldn’t be more important in preventing permanent damage to nerves, eyes, blood vessels and skin as well as other parts of the body. Do everything you can to keep your blood sugar levels low. 2.Maintain a Healthy Diet A healthy diet is the best place to start if you want to keep blood sugar levels low. A great way to make your diet healthy is to stop consuming processed sugar. This can be done simply by eating unprocessed, whole foods while limiting foods with simple carbs and added sugar. For instance, eat organic (to avoid pesticides) fruits and vegetables, lean meats and whole grains. Skip on pre-packaged foods which contain lots of added sugar. Add cinnamon, which has been known to stabilize blood sugar levels, to add sweetness to treats in place of sugar. Omega-3 fatty acids from fish is a great addition as well. Also drink plenty of water and ditch the soda, energy drinks, specialty coffees, etc. as they tend to contain lots of sugar and consuming them will raise blood sugar levels 3

  4. very quickly, which can trigger those painful Peripheral Neuropathy symptoms. Good nutrition cannot be underestimated in controlling this condition. Also consider vitamin supplements like B-12 and chromium (consult your doctor first) which help with sugar cravings. 3.Lower Exposure to Toxins If you have Peripheral Neuropathy, you are more likely to have kidney problems such as kidney disease and kidney stones. Kidneys are what filter the toxins from the blood so it is very important that they are not over-taxed. Unhealthy kidneys will lead to the accumulation of these toxins in your body, which will only worsen your condition. Quit smoking as soon as possible and avoid alcohol. Also avoid exposure to pesticides, chemical household cleaners and beauty products, plus any unnecessary prescription drugs and antibiotics. Don’t even consider recreational drugs. Be good to your kidneys! And remember, less toxins equal less pain. 4.Regular Exercise Regular exercise is one of the best ways to manage diabetic symptoms, including diabetic nerve pain. It is a great way to help maintain a healthy weight, control blood sugar levels, and decrease hypertension, all while increasing strength and range of motion. In fact, according to a study published in the Journal of Diabetes Complications, regular exercise caused significant reductions in pain and neuropathic symptoms in diabetics while increasing intraepidermal nerve fiber branching. In other words, it helps your nerves function properly and even regenerate. Try to get 30 to 60 minutes of exercise at least four days per week. Daily is even better. There are plenty of low impact exercises like walking, cycling and swimming. Not only does it improve your body’s response to insulin while lowering blood sugar levels but exercise also protects your nerves by improving circulation, reducing cholesterol, and lowering stress. 5.Manage Stress There’s a good reason to lower stress, especially for a diabetic. Stress increases inflammation and raises the risk for all kinds of diabetic complications. Exercising, as we just discussed, is one way of lowering stress levels. There are several other ways as well, many of which we take for granted. Meditation, prayer, spending more time on hobbies, being in nature, and being with friends and family are all natural stress 4

  5. relievers. Take advantage! 6.Protect Your Skin and Feet It’s very important that you monitor yourself and check for any signs of new nerve damage to your skin, feet, legs and hands. Look for new signs of injuries such as blisters, sores and ulcers. Foot and skin care are extremely important in the prevention and treatment of Peripheral Neuropathy. Wash your feet and toenails carefully and daily. Wash your skin daily as well, especially in skin folds where bacteria and moisture can build up and cause infections. Always wear clean socks and clothing. Delicate skin should not be exposed to hot temperatures. This includes the sun on warm days and hot showers as well. Cut your toenails, file corns and if you notice redness, swelling or an infection, see a doctor. Letting those things fester can lead to an infection spreading (including to the bone) and possibly lead to amputation. Don’t worry about perfectly following the above advice right away. If you just follow half of it at the start, you’ll find yourself in a much better position than you would have doing nothing. Make the changes that are easier for you first then work on the things that are harder for you to change. Just decide to act and follow through and better days will be ahead. If you still need additional help to manage your diabetic nerve pain, check out The Neuropathy Solution, a program by Dr. Randall Labrum, a doctor who is also a former Peripheral Neuropathy sufferer himself. It’s an all- natural way to keep Peripheral Neuropathy in check without drugs and surgery at a more than reasonable price. And remember, it’s created by a doctor who has the condition himself! If you are looking to end the suffering while significantly improving the quality of your life, then who better to help you? Click the following link right away to change your life! 5
