Explore The Best Marine Life at Red Pillar Dive Site, Havelock Island

Red Pillar is a fabulous coral reef that is located 1.5 kilometers north of Havelock Island and close to the neighbouring Peel Island. It is a shallow reef with strong but manageable currents due to its location just right on the channel. The reef is popular for spotting bathtub-sized barrel sponges, snappers, clownfish, angelfish, triggerfish, a combination of soft and hard corals, and many other marine species. The top of the reef starts at 2.5 meters and lands on the sandy bottom at 14 meters.
