It includes digital learning & academics, in-water training, and certification. Watch Video At: https://youtu.be/KYhtMiKXsQg Digital learning & Academics The first step to begin your scuba dive certification is digital learning that you can start anytime at your home or anywhere at your convenience before visiting the Andaman Islands for in-water training. You will have to register yourself with the SSI app and pay INR 2500 per person to unlock your digital learning material to begin your learning. The following 6 sections has the e-learning material Your body and the aquatic environment Using your life support equipment underwater Breathing gas and the effects on your body The value of a dive buddy and executing your dives The ocean and your diving opportunities Your scuba diving experiences and beyond In-water training 2/3

3. It is the crucial part to complete your scuba diving certification. You will be briefed about the course structure, equipment briefing, and probable dive sites. It includes confined water training sessions and actual dives along with scuba dive 20 skills. Your scuba dive instructor teach and let you practice each and every skill to make you confident and comfortable for scuba dive adventure. The SSI open water diver course includes 6 open water dives and certifies up to a maximum dive depth of 18 meters. You will need atleast 5 days considering one day as a buffer on the Island to complete open water diver program. Day 1 and Day 2 2 shallow dives at the Nemo Reef dive site Day 3 2 deep dives at Tribe Gate and red piller Day 4 2 deep dives at the wall and slope Note: The dive sites may be subject to change depending on boat availability and dive or weather conditions. Swaraj Dweep Certification You will be issued an open water certification on successful completion of all 6 open water dives. You will have to pass a theoretical examination to complete and issue your online certification. With the OWD certification, you can dive anywhere around the world within your limits and experience. Eligibility for open water diver program A person must be atleast 12 years of age and should be physically and mentally sound enough to enroll for the program. Basic swimming is a pre-requisite for the open water diver course. A person looking for OWD course shall have to pass a 200 meters of swimming and 300 meters of snorkel and float test.
