  3. Produce Electricity From Biomass Biomass briquetting plant is useful in many industry because it does not create any pollution in air and also economical as compared to other sources. Different methods work with different types of biomass. Typically, woody biomass such as wood chips, pellets, and sawdust are combusted or gasified to generate electricity.

  5. How It Works Wood waste or biomass from another source is burned to heat water in a boiler. The resulting steam drives a turbine which generates electricity. When biomass is burned, some of the heat produced can be used to gassify the material. It can then be used in a gas turbine generator, which is much more efficient than a conventional boiler.

  7. How It Works • As the wind blows over the blades of a wind turbine, it causes the blades to lift and rotate. • The rotating blades turn a shaft that is connected to a generator. • The generator creates electricity as it turns.
