Building Trust Develop Trusting Relationships = Source of Competitive Advantage SOURCE CREDIBILITY Ethos -> character & integrity Logos -> expertise & competence Pathos -> charisma REPUTATION OF BEING TRUSTED by making deposits of good works into the “trust bank” TRANSPARENCY & HONESTY on telling the story through mediated channels to create and sustain mutually-beneficial relationships A R I S T O T L E Trust is a central construct in the framming and dynamics of managerial relationships ( Credd & Miles, 1996 ).
