  1. Common Name: The Rocky Mountain Bighorn SheepScientific Name: Ovis Canadensis Rachel Grover

  2. I saw the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep while riding through Oregon state at seven o’clock in the morning on Saturday August eleventh. We were driving through the Columbia River Gorge from eastern Oregon to Portland. The area we were in was very dry, mountainous.

  3. This Rocky Mountain Bighorn sheep is climbing up the steep hill in search for food.

  4. This Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep is eating the grass.

  5. These Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep are climbing up the steep slope after they were finished eating looking for better grass to eat.

  6. These Bighorn Sheep are leaving to hide for the day so they will not be hunted since they are an endangered specie.

  7. This Bighorn Sheep is taking one last bite before it has to go hide to stay away from the hunters.

  8. Taking these pictures taught me a lot about Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep. I had no clue that they would be so interesting. Especially because we were driving in the car on our way to the Oregon coast and pulled over just to look at the bighorn sheep. I would really like to see what they look like and how they react to things in the winter.
