  1. Several studies have shown that consuming sugary drinks and desserts leads to dental cavities. As a result of frequent snacking on sugary foods, the teeth are exposed to acids for extended periods, resulting in an increased risk of tooth decay. Consuming more can harm your child's oral and overall health.

  2. There are billions of bacteria in our mouths. Regular dental cleanings, good oral hygiene habits, and healthy eating keep the harmful bacteria from overpowering the good.

  3. If a person consumes sugar, the harmful bacteria in their mouths turn it into acid. This causes our enamel to soften, which eats away at our teeth.

  4. How sugar affects the body In addition to causing oral health problems, too much sugar predisposes to childhood obesity and malnutrition. Sugar can also cause brain fog, which makes it difficult for children to focus in school.
