What is dead stock

This is a more country-specific option than the others. Assume you're a clothes retailer in the United States, and you've just discovered a carton of Tablets Bulk Buy, Mobile Bulk Buy or Desktops Bulk Buy from four years ago in a warehouse corner. You have a small chance of selling it to your consumers (if it didn't sell before, it won't sell now...), but the contents are unaltered. Throwing everything away in the name of spring cleaning your business may seem wasteful, but what other options do you have?
