Unique 12 steps of Russian Massage Russian massage therapy is a kind of massage treatment that blends deep tissue massage, sports massage, and other Eastern and Western methods. The steps of a Russian massage session are as follows: 1. Client Assessment- Start by reviewing the client's medical history, any injuries or special concerns, and any tense spots they would like to work through. Talk about the client's desires and goals for the massage. 2. Setting up the Client- Tell the person to lie down on the massage table and undress to their comfort level. Give the customer privacy and cover them with a towel or sheet. 3. Oil Application-
To lessen friction and promote fluid motions during the massage, apply massage oil to the client's skin. 4. Effleurage Using your hands, fingers, or forearms, begin with long, soft strokes. These preparatory strokes aid in muscle warming and get the body ready for more intense action. 5. Petri’s sage- To further warm the muscles, use compression and kneading movements. Apply pressure to targeted muscle groups using your hands, thumbs, and fingers. 6. Friction To release adhesions and knots in the muscles, use friction that is either circular or cross-fiber in nature. This method enhances flexibility and relieves tension. 7. Tapotement- Use tapping, hacking, or cupping motions to energize your muscles and improve circulation. Consider the client's comfort level and modify the level of intensity as necessary. 8. Vibration/Shaking- To help you relax and let go of tension, give your body a gentle shake or vibration. 9. Stretching- To increase range of motion and flexibility, combine passive and active stretching. Make sure the customer is comfortable and not in any pain by having a conversation with them. 10. Joint Mobilization-
To enhance joint function and mobilize the joints, use mild movements. Pay attention to the input from the customer and modify the level of intensity as necessary. 11. Trigger Point Therapy- Locate and focus on particular trigger points that the patient may be feeling tense or in discomfort. Press firmly to gradually release these places. 12. Finishing Heart Attacks- Lighter effleurage strokes to relieve tense muscles and encourage relaxation should be used to end the session. Give the client enough time to adjust and make any suggested post-massage cares. Throughout the massage, always check in with the client to make sure they're comfortable and modify the pressure as needed. For more details visit La More SPA.
