8. Partnership All HAZ work is premised on partnership working:
Between statutory organisations
Between statutory organisations and community + voluntary organisations
Often performs a brokering role, facilitating dialogue between a range of organisations
Community Participation - to strengthen community participation throughout
HAZ work - team of 3.5 - 1 is CDW. E.g CEG/Partnership Boards/CHIW
TG2 - to ensure the engagement of young people and agencies working with them
in order that key issues of need are addressed.
Child Safety Forum - to bring together all those within the HAZ who have a role
in promoting child safety and child protection.
HLC Network-to create a means for sharing information and learning among the
8 in HAZ and 2 in other parts of the city.
Evaluation and Research -commission an evaluation of partnership working and agree
a framework for overall HAZ evaluation. - impact of automatic external defibrillators/
special support interventions with disadvantaged pregnant women/range of other progs.
Information Database - extended and used to inform development pathways -
occasional papers and increased access on website.
Communication - clear communication strategy roll forward - reference Jonathan Community Participation - to strengthen community participation throughout

Travellers health and accommodation needs
Communities in Schools making the school a resource for the community, and the community a resource for the school

people and their families.
Integrated Development for YP-to create new ways of meeting the needs of
young people and delivering services/co-ordinate the programmes aiming to
promote the sexual health of YP.

Mental Health and Wellbeing - to explore how the mental health and wellbeing
needs of HAZ residents can be identified and addressed as part of a post-
settlement community building process/explore development of co-ordinated
approach to Drugs and Alcohol across Zone.
