  1. Yoga – A Supplement to Dance Nothing frees the soul quite like dancing. An undying passion for dance is something every dancer can relate to. With this passion comes a will to always keep improving and honing his art. But that’s easier said than done. Dancers are constantly on the move (pun intended) and are always looking for ways to level up their game. In order to do so they must ensure that their bodies are in optimum shape and free of injuries. No matter which genre one decides to dedicate his or her life to, the need for amelioration is ineluctable. In order to do so, many dancers look to Yoga. Yoga has helped countless dancers and athletes push their performance and capabilities through the roof over the years. It helps them increase joint stability, intramuscular flexibility and overall body strength. Exercises like Purvottanasana, Trikonasana, Adho Mukha Svanasana and many more are widely popular in the dance community. Another form of Yoga that has been beneficial to many dancers, especially ballroom and contemporary dancers is the pilates fusion yoga workout.
