  2. Satan Came Among Adam And Eve In The Garden - Gen 3:1-4 • Adam and Eve yielded to Satan's temptation - Gen 3:6 • Anytime God makes his will known, Satan is there to lambaste and defeat it - 2 Thess 2:7-12; 1 Tim 4:1-6

Satan Came Into The Presence Of Jesus During The Temptation In The Wilderness - Matt 4:1-11 • This was immediately after the Lord's baptism - Matt 3:13-16 • All who are baptized into Christ (Col 2:12) will have to face Satan's coming among them - 1 Pet 5:8 • Like Job, God's people need to resist Satan - 1 Pet 5:9; Jas 4:7

Satan Comes Among People In Order To Hinder The Truth Of God • The parable of the sower - Lk8:5-9 • Herod: Enjoyed listening to John the Baptist, but Satan's influence was greater - Mk 6:20 • Felix: Trembled at the thought of having to face Christ, but was convinced by Satan to postpone any response - Acts 24:24-25 • Agrippa: Heard Paul's defense concerning Christ - Acts 26:27-28

  9. Satan Enters Into The Presence Of People When God’s Conditions Of Salvation Are Preached • To be saved one must believe and be baptized - Mk 16:16 • Satan says, “You don't need to be baptized. After all, baptism is just a nice, little ceremony whereby you demonstrate the power of faith.”
