  5. Family Child Care Regulations 8.11(2)(f)(g): (2): Routine: The caregiver must carry out a routine that is flexible and responsive to the needs and interests of the children in care. Healthy Kids Move Manual Healthy Kids Move Manual • Available late summer: at www.Mass.gov/EEC Contents The Healthy Kids Move manual, developed by OCCS, DOE, and Harvard University includes: • An overview of physical development, birth through school-age; • Physical Activity Ideas and adaptations; and • Information on promotinghealthy eating habits and Nutrition ideas J. Training for Providers • Healthy Kids Move training developed in 2001 • Train the Trainers for Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies held at the Children’s Museum in Boston every Jan. • Annual Collaboration meeting and update of the training every July • Training offered across the state each year through OCCS funding • Printing of the Healthy Kids Move manual Sept. 2004 by Dept. of Education • Harvard holds quarterly partners meetings annually. • Manual will be available for download on Early Education and Care website and Dept. of Education J.
