Where are the words? • What words are near? • What is the meaning of the words • to a Roman? • Are there any LINKS to what you know • about (i) the Roman world (ii) this story? • What about the PHYSICAL SOUND of • the words? • look out for repetition, alliteration, • assonance, monosyllables etc. THEY WILL • DRAW ATTENTION TO (3) AND (4). explain it all!
