FILM NIGHT IN THE PARKFALL, 2004 Sat., Sept.. 18th @ Washington Sq. Park Sat., Oct. 9th @ Dolores Park • Over the last two years the Film Night in the Park series presented by the San Francisco Neighborhood Theater Foundation and the Telegraph Hill Dwellers has become one of San Francisco’s most popular neighborhood events. 3,000 filmgoers attended the two Film Night in the Park screenings in the Spring of 2004 and the inaugural screening at Dolores Park was a huge success attracting approximately 1,700 people. • This fall, the Film Night in the Park series will continue as once we’ll work with local residents and merchants to present two more outdoor film screenings. • On Saturday, September 18th Film Night in the Park presents the 1947 film-noir thriller “Dark Passage”, starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall at North Beach’s Washington Square Park. • On Saturday, October 9th Film Night in the Park presents the 1972 cult classic “Harold and Maude” at Dolores Park. • Both films will be presented on a giant outdoor screen and will be preceded by previews of films produced by local filmmakers. Our goal is to create an exciting and fun event that brings the community together and demonstrates the value of film in our neighborhoods. Screenings attract residents from throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area.
