  1. "Hayovel" school in Ashdod Headed by Pnina Weinstein Hosting a delegation of principals and private schools' owners from Mexico Initiated by "Israel Experience" - subsidiary of the Jewish Agency

  2. "Hayovel" school in Ashdod, led by Pnina Weinstein, educates toward entrepreneurship and innovation and serves as a role model for diverse learning, which intrigues interest and curiosity in the pupils. The visit was initiated by Galit Zamler, the developer of the educational program "Entrepreneurship for Kids" that is being taught in the school. Joined to the delegation's visit were Ms. Ruth Ben-Walid, the school inspector on behalf of the Israeli ministry of education and Ms. Ilanit Elhelo, the head of the "PISGA" center in Ashdod.

  3. The school tour was led by the pupils, who told in an inspirational way about all that is happening in their school and presented in front of the guests the variety of programs and educational ways that are being offered to the pupils.

  4. 4th,5th, and 6th-graders who are learning robotics with their teleprocessing teacher illustrated their achievements so far, by using robots carrying the Israeli and Mexican flags.

  5. The pupils explained what is 'Lighthouse for success"- which is an explanation for the school pedagogical principle which is apparent in the daily school work and leads to the empowerment of the pupils, and fulfillment of the learning, social and behavioral potential.

  6. The guests were thrilled with the pupils from the Spanish excellence club, who presented themselves in Spanish and told about the Spanish classes they are taking with the guidance from their teacher Marta Goldberg.

  7. The pupils presented the school's museum that is based on four foundations: earth, water, air, and fire. Those elements are reflected in different school subjects.

  8. A meeting with the pupils who planned, edited, and produced a video about their classroom's YouTube page.

  9. Watching the pupils seated around round tables and learning on the subject of teaching methods. The kids explained that they like to learn with innovative learning methods better because, with them, they are more active and more challenged.

  10. A tour at a teleprocessing learning area that serves all of the school's pupils in all of the school subjects.

  11. The delegation's members watched the pupils during dance class.

  12. 6th graders lectured in front of 4th graders in preparation for the entrepreneurial studies, they will be taking next year, and this is within "Students teaching students."

  13. An activity meeting within the "Inter-generational bonding" program of the school's pupils with grandparents. The kids teach the seniors computer skills, and together they are making boxes of escape rooms.

  14. A tour at the schoolyard, to a plaza where the pupils learn about Israeli creators.

  15. A tour at the multidisciplinary garden. The pupils of the "Green Council" are meeting once a week with Arik, one of the dads at school, who's in charge of grooming the garden.

  16. Additional learning spaces on the schoolyard: • Road safety- 6th graders mentoring first-graders. • Juggling class for developing perseverance, collaboration, and concentration skills. • Science in the kitchen- science classes in a way of experimenting and learning insights.

  17. A group picture with the delegation members who concluded the visit as inspiring, and they intend to implement in Mexico what they saw here.

  18. The delegation members listened to a panel featuring the school's principal, her deputy Sigalit Dror-Elkabetz, the education coordinator Lilach Alush, the parents representative Atty, Amir Ben- Nifla, and school's alumni: Dre, Joel, Dor, and Rinat.

  19. Galit Zamler led a workshop about entrepreneurship education within the school setting and explained about implementing the educational program "Entrepreneurship for Kids" in schools across Israel and abroad.

  20. At the end of the visit, the delegation members expressed much appreciation for the courage to lead innovation and creativity in education and thanked for the enriching tour. The school gave the participants DOK with pictures from the successful visit.
