  2. Gautam Adani has just got richer by INR 39,000 crore within a week. The 62-year-old chairman of the Adani Group is currently the richest individual in the world. He also comes with a net worth of 76.9 billion USD. His business spans multiple growth sectors like ports, airports, renewables, data centres, mining, etc.

Adani’s Rise in Wealth • Because of the extraordinary profits reported by the Adani Group of companies currently having a market valuation of INR 15.5 lakh crore, the Adani Group’s chairman, Gautam Adani, has recently added another INR 39,000 crore to his existing fortune. Now this is great news for the Adani Group as the global conglomerate sets new benchmarks for its business operations. As per Forbes, Gautam Adani has a net worth of 76.9 billion USD. This makes him one of the richest persons in the world. Adani is currently ranked 21st on the Forbes list of the world’s billionaires. He is also the second richest person in India. His position lies right after Mukesh Ambani who is the chairman of Reliance Industries.
