Women’s Clothing: Finding the Best Bargains When Shopping Online Unless you have more money than sense, you surely prefer having a bargain than paying over the odds for a piece of clothing? If so, the internet is your friend. It offers, by far, the best prices in the world. If there’s a bargain to be had, it’s on the internet. Well, mostly, there might be some exceptions to this rule, but they're rare. Here, we’re going to explain to you how to find a bargain when shopping online. All you need is an internet connection, your debit/credit card (but preferably a pre-paid card, to protect against fraud), and a decent computer – slow computers will annoy you!
The biggies: Amazon and eBay The first place to look for items is on these big websites. Here, there’s a lot of competition and it drives down prices in many cases. The best bargains that you will find are “buy it now” items. This is because the auctions often have the reverse issue: they drive up prices. If you find yourself in a bidding war, it’s likely that you will end up paying much more than you need to.
Making money while you shop Some sites offer you cash back when you make a purchases. Effectively, there just the same as the vouchers you’d find in the supermarkets, except that they go towards clothes. They're relatively rare in the clothing world, so you will have to take the time to look for them. Their rarity also means that you might not have as much choice of style. For instance, it’s a common thing amongst elderly types of clothing, which might or might not suit you.
Use special search terms to find bargains As a savvy shopper, you know that some of the retailers use specific sentences and marketing ploys to attract you to their bargains. You have two different ways of doing this, and you should apply both in order to find the best bargains: 1. Use Google and search the entire web for the key phrases. These phrases might include “everything 10 Pounds” or “items for £5 and less”. Try different search terms and you will find some bargains. Remember to use ‘clothes’ as part of the search term, but don’t necessarily put this in quotes. FYI quotes return the exact phrase only.
2. Use the Google site search and search a specific website. For example, if you want to find cheap clothes at your favourite retailer, you might write this in the search bar: site: favourite site “everything 10 pounds”. Again, playing around with the specific search. Sites where multiple people must buy in order to get the bargain The biggest site of this type is one you’ve probably used already, Groupon. You can find some incredibly bargains here. I bought a pair of real sheepskin boots for around £40, which is cheap. They were fantastic quality too. I've bought numerous things this way, and it is great. The only downside is that you don’t get to choose what they have on offer, and they don’t always have clothes that you like. We hope that you now have a much better idea about how to find a bargain online.
