Kefir Kefir is a tangy, slightly fizzy, fantastic fermented milk beverage. It can be made with all kinds of different milks, dairy and non dairy. It looks similar to yogurt, but is far superior. Yogurt will last a day inside of you, but kefir will last indefinitely.
Kefir Benefits Kefir has benefits to health in following basis: • Kefir has over thirty types of good bacteria – a mere handful in Yogurt • Eliminates constipation • Reduces or eliminates allergies • Reduces or eliminates asthma symptoms • Treats diarrhea • Aids lactose intolerance • Promotes deep sleep • Cures acne • Eliminates constipation • Heals ulcers
Dry Kefir Grains Like the popular Japanese and Australian Dry Kefir Grains (Tanekin kefir yogurt and KCN Kefir) also are milk kefir grains … kefir that uses milk lactose, as a food source … the difference is while the Dry Kefir Grains produce a good glass of Milk Kefir, they do so only once or twice. With each succeeding glass the culture diminishes in quantity and quality. One has to purchase new replacement packs to make the next batch of yogurt kefir. The packages are easy to use and last awhile in the fridge This does provide a safe easy and convenient method of making yogurt that does have healthy probiotic affect – however the probiotic microorganism does die off very soon.
Jun Jun is becoming more popular in the United States. This is probably due to its close association with Kombucha. In some ways Jun is easier to make than Kombucha. Some ways harder. Jun is closely related to Ginger Beer due to both ferments being one principally of a Lactobacillus ferment.
Our JUN Starter kits include Creamy smooth extra thick 5-inch wide mushroom, one to two cups starter tea at the proper pH. New expanded 77 page Booklet included with each order. We detailed instructions on How to reduce sugar content while maintaining a great tasting healthy beverage, plus lots of practical useful information from years of making the best elixirs ever. Jun can be aerobic or anaerobic ferment of yeast and bacteria but principally a ferment of the Lactobacillus species of bacteria. Lactobacillus is the principle bacteria that produces our fermented foods like; pickles, cheese, yogurts, and more. These bacteria produce Lactic Acid but no glucronic acid, though Honey does contain some gluconic acid naturally. Lactobacillus is an extremely healthy probiotic that aids digestion. Produces a pleasant sour taste.
