  3. ImpexRFP to Obtain Export Permit from the DAWR What is an export documentation process? It is the process of preparing important export documents either manually or electronically using a powerful solution like ImpexDocs. The software package consists of many useful applications, one of them being IMPEXRFP. What is a RFP (Request for permit)? It is the process to lodge a request to obtain an export permit from the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources (DAWR) for commodities in the categories of plants and plants product and animals and animal products. IMPEXRFP makes it a fast procedure and also helps to obtain health certificates, phytosanitary certificates and other important trade documents.

  4. ImpexEDN to Obtain EDN from the Customs What is an EDN (export declaration number)? It is the number issued by the Customs after exporter lodges an export declaration for a consignment to be exported. The Customs uses the electronic Integrated Cargo System (ICS) to accept the declaration and issue an EDN faster. ImpexEDN is an application that can be used to contact the ICS online and lodge an export declaration. Another thing you must know about ImpexDocs is that it allows the exporters to save time by using the SEW (Single Electronic Window) to obtain an export permit as well as the EDN in a cost-effective manner.

  5. ImpexCOO to Get Certificates of Origin Stamped What is a certificate of origin? It is an export document that certifies the origin of goods being exported from a country. It is required to obtain the benefits under the Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). The exporters need to get these certificates typed in the prescribed formats and then submit them to a chamber of commerce for stamping. ImpexCOO makes the task easier and faster by allowing certificate submission to a chamber of commerce electronically. Another advantage is that the exporters may choose to receive the stamped certificates via emails and get them printed right at their offices to save time.

  6. IMPEXPRA TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE CTOS What is a PRA (pre-receival advice)? During the final part of exporting a consignment, the exporters must obtain cargo acceptance approval from the cargo terminal operators (CTOs) for which they need to send a PRA to the latter. ImpexPRA is another useful application of the ImpexDocs software package which helps in establishing fast communication between the exporters and the CTOs. As an exporter, you may choose any of these applications or the entire ImpexDocs package for complete export documentation. It is a cloud-based solution which means that you don’t need to install any software. You can access these applications using web browsers and mobile devices.
