  1. How to install water fillers of Maytag water purifier. Preparation For starters, make sure to clear out space and set it up with essential tools. Here is what all you will need: •User Manual •RO Module •Storage Tank •Filter Cartridge •Water purifier Membrane •Filter Faucet •Installation Kit

  2. •Tools: drill, screwdriver, wrench, cutter, knife, drill bit, Teflon tape. Additionally, you will need to disassemble the components from the box and decide on appropriate mounting space. Once set, here are the steps to follow to accommodate the filter model. Water Purifier Assembling Steps Here are the 7 easy steps to install an RO water purifier at home. 1. Tap/Faucet Installation Get started by installing a faucet that will be your source for clean water in the future. It is one of the challenging steps of RO installation and should be completed first. 1.If your sink has an already-installed sprayer, you will have to disconnect it.

  3. Cover the connection with a pipe cap, and no drilling is needed. 2.If there is no sprayer or hole, you may be needed to drill one yourself. 3.While drilling a new hole, make sure to get the position right. Drill the gap on a flat surface for ease. 4.Once done, pass the faucet stem through the hole, securing it tightly. From underneath the surface, slide lock washer and hex nut to secure it with a wrench. 5.Make sure to position the faucet in a manner where it drains into the sink. 2. Drain Saddle Fitting Following the faucet installation, the next step is the drain saddle fitting. The drain saddle or drain line adapter is used to create a drainage connection under the sink. Due to errors with the position, most people end up with clogged RO systems along with foul odors. To overcome this, we recommend

  4. installing the drain saddle away from the garbage disposal. Additionally, it should be at least 6 inches above the p-trap. Start by drilling a ¼ inch hole in either the top or side of the drain line. Align the drain clamp with the hole and secure it with bolts. Tip: Do not over tighten and leave an equal gap on each side of the saddle halves. 3. Install the Inlet Feed Valve For the third step, you are required to connect the purifier with the cold water line. But here is something important to note! •Before you begin, shut off both the hot and cold water supply. Use the valves to release the pressure in the respective water lines. •Disconnect the tubing attached to the cold water valve. Connect the new feed valve provided in the RO box. You may necessitate an adapter for it additionally. Once installed, use a wrench to tighten it.

  5. •Now, connect the cold water valve tubing with the newly installed feed. Turn on the cold water supply and Viola; you are good to go! 4. Assemble Pre-Filter Unscrew the filter cap and slide in the pre- filter candle. Tighten the cap firmly using the Teflon tape for a proper seal. Complete the step by attaching the two connectors on either side of the per-filter. 5. Assembling Storage Tank and Filter Compartment Set up the storage tank close to the drinking faucet. The distance should not be more than 10 feet in order to maintain significant pressure. Wrap the Teflon tape over the threaded port and screw the tank connector.

  6. Moving on, assemble the filter compartments and screw them firmly. 6. Water purifier Membrane Installation Insert the water purifier membrane in its respective housing. Open the RO cabinet lid and carefully slide the RO membrane cylinder. Then, place the top back, securing it tightly. 7. Run the System Check on all the inlet and outlet connections, screwing where necessary. Ensure all links are tight to prevent any leakage. Hang the RO system at the desired spot and leave the outlet pipe in the sink to drain. Connect the system to an electrical outlet and run it. Note: Drain the first water supply. Do not consume the first batch and consider it a test- run.

  7. In case of leakage, reach out to a plumber or the brand for assistance. https://www.partsips.com/maytag-appliance- parts
