  4. DiDA – your ideal ICT course? • No exam • Work completed using ICT • Modern, up to date course • Real-life ICT skills for your future • ‘Paperless’ assessment • You submit an electronic portfolio of work

  5. AiDA DiDA – your ideal ICT course? • You are going to study AiDA, the first part of DiDA. • Called D201 – AiDA is unit 1 of the DiDA course. • Stands for:Award in Digital Applications • Equivalent to one full GCSE

  6. AiDA • A Summative Project Brief (SPB) is released by the exam board • This gives you a series of tasks to complete

  7. AiDA • You have to research, analyse and present information • Create paper and screen publications to present in an e-Porfolio • You will learn to plan your project, and then review and evaluate it.

  8. AiDA • The unit requires you to develop practical computing skills in: • Word processing and DTP • Spreadsheets • Presentation software • Website software • Artwork and imaging software
