  7. The imperative form is only used with the 2nd person (singular and plural): du, Sie, ihr and with the 1st person plural: Wir

  8. When the imperative is used with the 2nd person plural wir, it is like a suggestion meaning“Let’s ~” Gehen wir tanzen! Let’s go dancing! Trinken wir auf eurem Wohl! Let’s drink to your health! Hören wir gut zu. Let’s listen closely.

  9. Du- imperative and the stem vowel change verbs geben du gibst Gib uns unser Brot.

  10. Du- imperative and the stem vowel change verbs Nehmen du nimmst Nimm doch ein Bißchen Käse.

  12. The ‘ihr-form’ imperative looks just like the conjugated verb form, but the pronoun is not mentioned. Kinder, nehmt ein Stuck Kuchen, esst schnell und geht dann ins Bett!

  13. The verb sein is irregular. Here are the imperative forms: Sei brav, mein kleines Kind! Seien Sie geduldig, Herr Professor! Seid ruhig, Kinder!
