  1. For those especially in a commercial property in need of extra work space, the first thing that comes to mind is to relocate to a much bigger place where they can continue their business operations unhindered. While this may be a goo thing, it must be given careful consideration. The cost of renting the new space is not the only thing to worry about, but also is the cost of moving materials and equipment which may cost a lot. Another thing to bear in mind is the disruption that will be created. During the period, work will have to stop until the new place is ready and set for work. Depending on the size of the new building and number of items being moved, this may take several days or weeks. The potential income loss is what makes Mezzanine floors a viable option.

  2. Residential Properties - In private properties, the extra space to store items may be insufficient as more items are acquired. Keeping unwanted items or items that are not frequently used in the home inside the house can choke up the living space. Mezzanine can be installed in the garage of an entirely new storage area can be erected to contain such items. What makes its use a very attractive proposition is in the clever use of space. As long as there is space above ground extending to and above the roof, using it is possible.

  3. Industrial Properties - Mezzanine is very common in industrial and manufacturing facilities where a lot of ground space is needed to either do work or to store work tools and materials. Limited spaces can lead to occupational hazards which every plant manager will want to avoid. By creating different compartments to store tools and materials, workers can move around easily as they go about their activities unhindered. Storage spaces can be created to house equipment while work areas can also be segmented for an easier work process.

  4. Mezzanine - Also called Entresol by the French, this type of floors was made popular in France centuries ago and the ide spread to other parts of the world. Mezzanine floors Perthare semi-permanent floor structures installed in an enclosed building or area. The idea behind this is to create extra floor space to accommodate man and materials or to extend work spaces. Mezzanine is a ground above a ground and can be extended for several feet above ground. As long as the structure is created with durable materials, it can last several years. Although they are widely used in commercial buildings, mezzanine can also be used in private residential buildings.

  5. No matter how limited ground space is, mezzanine floors can be used to expand or create new ground areas. Rather than pay that extra rent for a new building, you can make better use of space with the use of Mezzanine. There are experienced contractors who have worked with different companies and industries and they bring their wealth of experience to bear when consulting for their clients.
