White Air - Background • Established for 12 years - the biggest water and land based ticketed festival in the UK and Europe • White Air is the No 1 ‘Extreme Sports Festival’ in Google and other search engines • Events include World, European and UK Championships, plus open events for all to enter • 50,000 spectators viewing at the main site, 20,000 within main village • Festival site is 2 hours from London • 500+ competitors and 26 sports, plus a live music stage • ‘Have a go’ interaction and introductory sessions available for all spectators and families • 4,809 people tried ‘Have a Go’ sports at White Air 2007, a 7x increase from ‘06 • Extensive TV coverage in 2007 reached an audience of 14.5 million + and a total readership figure of 50 million+ • EAC of £200,000 (based on 06/7 figures)
