The Jewish Girl Naming Ceremony, also known as "Simchat Bat," "Brit Bat," or "Zeved Bahat," marks a girl's entrance into Judaism within the first month of her birth. Historically, no formal ceremony existed, but now it's a cherished event where family gathers to bless and celebrate the girl's spiritual connection with God. A spiritual leader bestows a Hebrew name, reflecting the child's unique identity, emphasizing equality and blessings for both boys and girls.
