  4. FUNDRAISING PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM Goal: The RPAC Partnership Program was created to provide state and local associations the monetary resources needed to reach their fundraising goals. Two Components: Grants & Marketing Materials

  5. Fundraising Conference Grantsfor State Associations • Each state can apply for as much as $0.10 per member (with minimum grant being $5,000) • Only Requirement: Must allow for a NAR representative to speak on NAR programs

  6. Fundraising Grants for Local Associations • Locals may apply for grants of up to $5,000 to be used for fundraising purposes. • Requirements: A) Local association must forward 30% of all RPAC funds raised in targeted year to national RPAC; B) State election law does not ban use of corporate contributions for use in fundraising

  7. RPAC Marketing Materials • FREE customized materials to be used for solicitation and donor education • 14 different template designs • NAR will pay for the design, printing, and delivery to your office • Requirement: A) Use of National Legislative issues and RPAC Major Donor Levels B) State can legally accept corporate dollars for fundraising purposes.

  8. RPAC Fundraising Forums • Held at Midyear & Annual Conventions • Learn ideas form fellow REALTOR boards • Receive national fundraising updates • Learn about NAR programs • Networking Opportunity

  11. Why is this important? Arkansas allows a $50 tax credit for an individual or $100 for a married couple.

NEW Major Donor BenefitsEffective 2009 Crystal R ($2,500 to join, $1,500 to sustain) • Discounts on REALTOR University courses and REALTOR Store Products • Regular raffles for complimentary registration at national meetings, VIP seating at NAR concerts and tickets to DC and Chicago sporting events

  14. NEW Major Donor BenefitsEffective 2009 Golden R ($5,000 to join; $2,000 to sustain if joined after 2002; $1K to sustain if joined before 2002) • Access to Hospitality Suite in headquarter hotels at national meetings

  15. PRESIDENT’S CIRCLE • Vital to the Association’s success • Reaches beyond RPAC • 230 members in 2008 = $460,000 in additional “REALTOR-related” contributions

  16. PRESIDENT’S CIRCLE • $2,000 commitment in addition to RPAC Major Donor investment • Flexible! You choose the candidate/political committee from a target list approved by the RPAC Trustees • Pay via credit card or by mailing a check
