After a nine-year career in law enforcement that included positions with the U.S. Coast Guard and the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, Justin Krashefski chose to redirect his career to one of lower stress.
While he enjoyed protecting and serving his country and community, during his time with the FLPD he saw many violent crimes and tense situations, and after four years decided it was time to do something different.
During his basic training in the Coast Guard in 2001, Krashefski was expected to do 29 push-ups in 60 seconds, 38 sit-ups in 60 seconds, run 1.5 miles in under 13 minutes, and tread water for 5 minutes. His nine years of training left him in tremendous physical condition, and he decided to continue to stay fit through educating others as a personal trainer.
He currently teaches his clients fitness strategies to help them lose weight effectively. Currently, he studies Exercise Science and Health Promotion at Florida Atlantic University, learning how to improve his clients’ internal health through diet and nutrition in addition to their physical appearance.
After he finishes his degree, he plans to open a fitness and lifestyle studio where he can continue to implement his rigorous training strategies to help his clients maximize their exercise results and practice proper diet and nutrition.
