NEW MACBOOK AIR WITH M2 CHIP The MacBook Air is getting a major redesign with a new all-aluminum unibody enclosure, a larger 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display with thinner bezels, and a MagSafe charging port.
NEW M2 CHIP The M2 chip is Apple's second-generation in- house chip, and it's built on a 5nm process. It features an 8-core CPU with four performance cores and four efficiency cores, as well as a 10- core GPU. The M2 chip also supports up to 24GB of unified memory.
NEW SOFTWARE UPDATES Apple announced a number of new software updates at WWDC, including iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS Ventura, watchOS 9, and tvOS 16. These updates include new features for Messages, Mail, Safari, and other apps.
