Workshop Goals • Take the confusion out of 4-H record books. • Help 4-H Members, Leaders & Parents transition from old Record Books to new Record Books. • Answer questions about the new format.
Workshop Guidelines • Please ask clarification questions. • Be prepared to take this information back to your clubs.
Purpose of 4-H Records • Reflect on yearly work completed. • Maintain records of project and club work. • Demonstrate growth and measure achievement across years in 4-H. • Improve written communication skills.
Purpose of 4-H Records • Learn time management and organizational skills. • Learn responsibility and develop goal setting skills.
Record Book Incentives • Sell a market animal at Junior Livestock Show, Lassen Fair, Intermountain Fair or Tulelake Butte Valley Fair. • Participate in Countywide 4-H events. • Earn year pins & service stripes. • Earn star ranks. • Earn project pins.
