  5. Covering Politics and Government • Presidency -- most coverage • Congress -- more difficult to cover • Concentrate on: Leaders of both parties; key committee chairs (if subjects related), local media focus on local reps. • Coverage of hearings (Watergate, Campaign Finance) • Courts
