Shoe Boxes For Hope The inside of one of the 38 collected shoeboxes The outside of one of the 38 shoeboxes Special Thanks To: Some items that were included in the shoeboxes: Mr. Rick WilsonMr. Rynburg’s Class Mrs. Gerrish’s ClassMs. Dietrich’s ClassAmy Biehl Foundation Stuffed animals, pencils and pens, lip-gloss, coloring books, t-shirts, lollipops, life-savers, matchbox cars, crayons, markers, and writing pads Tyler Adcox and Nichole Donovan Tyler filling more boxes Nicholegetting shoeboxes ready For our Service Learning project we collected 40 shoeboxes and then visited three elementary classes at Jordan Acres Elementary School and Hawthorn Elementary School to let them decorate the shoeboxes with a Maine theme. We then proceeded to fill them with toys, pencils, coloring books and other fun objects that were donated to us or collected by us. After that we shipped them to underprivileged children in Africa through the Amy Biehl Foundation.
