4. How will student access TUT4life services? Steps to follow...

5. If you re not connected yet: Have your Proof of Registration with your random password on it handy. Go to internet explorer and type https://tut4life.tut.ac.za/

Step 1.1 Activate my email • Click on “Activate my email” • Enter your student number in the “Student Number” field • Enter the pin provided with your proof of registration materials in the “PIN” field • Now change your password to your own password. Please note that you have to follow all the Password Rules listed on the screen! • Confirm your new password

10. You can also change your password later if you have forgotten it, you will need you ID / Passport Number that you used in registration Click on “Change my Password”

11. Enter your Student No & you ID / Passport No that was used during TUT Student Registration

Step 2 (After 24 hours of new password) • Go to Start, Internet Explorer • Type in https://tut4life.tut.ac.za/ • Click on “Access My email” or https://www.outlook.com/ • Type in your StudentNumber@tut4life.ac.za next to Windows Live ID and your new password (created in Step 1 - 1.3) next to Password • This will take you to your Brand New TUT4life 10GB Mailbox • To access the TUT4life mailbox in future, students must follow step 2
