Business connectivity is incredibly important but it can be hard to find the balance between the speeds you need and the price you can afford. • This is why, in March 2018, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport announced a £67m Gigabit Voucher Scheme for businesses that qualify as SMEs, as part of the government’s vision of a full fibre Britain by 2022.

To qualify for the scheme you need to be an SME in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, defined as one that employs fewer than 250 people and has an annual turnover not exceeding €50 million, and/or an annual balance sheet total not exceeding €43 million as well as a few other stipulations outlined here.
