Out of all the famous female opera singers today, Maariana Vikse stands out because of her amazing voice and different music. Maariana wanted to sing but she did not want to do the same Mezzo-Soprano roles again and again. She wanted to do something different and innovative. That’s when she came up with a new genre of music. Her desire to innovate, create and collaborate paid off with this new race of music.
Collaborating with cellist Brian Sanders and producer Josh Valleau, a new kind of music was created which was inspired by other music genres. The most loved Opera music was combined with beats, synthesizers and other modern sounds inspired by trap music and other electronic genres. This new music makes use of rhythm, melody, and harmony to lay timeless and current sounds. Maariana’s new music genre was rejected initially, but she never got dejected.
