3. Introduction Story I will keep the introduction as short as possible so you can get started as soon as possible. This is not one of those regular courses which will only cost you money and headache. A Basic Cashier Book and PayPal business account When people pay you, they need proof that they have given you money for your service. From my experience here in Malta, where I am executing this method now, all businesses want to pay with cash. I also did the same in Bulgaria, same story, people want to pay with cash. In case you have a registered company and you can give receipts, than you know how to proceed. But if you don’t, then buy a receipt book from the stationary, and use it to give to customers.Use

6. it to give people a simple written receipt for their down payment, payments for additional services and final payment for the website delivery. In case they feel more comfortable sending you money online, then use Paypal. A FREE Canva Account: I use ​Canva​ for my flyer design but feel free to use any graphic design offline or online tool you want. I also use ​Jing​ as a screenshot tool and​​Paint.net​ as photo editing tool, as you can read later on. A Laptop or Ipad I use the laptop for my business walk ins and showing the people the possibilities for their online presence on the spot. Most people who ask me to show the possibilities are going to be paying clients. Iphone or Android phone with mobile internet It is a necessary tool, in order to do this method right. You need to be able to go online outside your home WIFI Last but not the least tool you need is you and your go-getter attitude. You should understand that this is a real business opportunity which you can execute yourself as much as you want, or as less as you want but you can not deny the fact that this will work sooner or later and I will be more than willing to guide you through the process!

7. THE METHOD This is how we do Biz Wiz: my secret is combining online techniques with an offline approach. 1st Magic Trick First magic trick is create an irresistible offer. The Prices I Use For Maintenance: 3 Months = 75.00 euro 6 Months = 135.00 euro 12 Months = 192.00 euro You can actually charge more along the way but you need to tweak these prices to see what converts best in your area and don't forget that you need to make a name for yourself first. So basically the customer gets the website (web design) for free , but he needs to pay for the monthly maintenance costs to you. This is an offer a few people can resist, especially if they already know (which most people do) that if they go to a local web design agency, a website costs ​€​1000+, and after you have the website you still need to pay for hosting, SSL, etc. In this case they save all this money, and get a lot of extras . This may sound crazy to you, or maybe you are thinking that you are giving away your services almost for free. Allow me to prove you wrong. The key is BuilderAll. As I mentioned before, creating a website from the templates takes no more than 3h (of course the first 1-2 times it might take you a bit longer, but that is only until you get used to the platform). 100% of my clients go for the 12 months maintenance costs, simply because I made it the most attractive offer, and because they want to have the website at least for a year. 9. The magic word here is “relationship”. Because they choose for the so called “maintenance” for extended period of time (in 100% of my cases it is 12 months), t​his basically mean that you acquired yourself a loyal client for the next 12 months.​ In 100% of my clients, it is never only the web design + maintenance they want. Logo.Help with their Facebook page. Extra banner for the home page. Online store. SEO services. There is always something extra they want. And because the customer already thinks he/she saved lots of money, it is easier for them to spend more! The Upsells I Currently Use Are: ● Logo Design ● SEO ● Social Media Marketing ● Optimize legal pages​:​​ Terms of service and Privacy Policy , they are obligatory by the EU law ● Extra pages ● Store - eCommerce Store. NOTE: Buildrall at the moment does not support Ecoommerce, for this I use a free Wordpress Theme, that has a premade demo site The theme is ​LETO by Athemes​. If the people want an ecommerce store, this rises the price double (which is still much less than what they will actually pay in a web design agency). I also charge extra for every product I need to put in the store. In the beginning I used to put the products by myself, now I outsource them through ​Fiverr ● Facebook page optimization and other social media creations ● Email optin form creation and maintaining the email database ● GDPR Installation It is up to you what you want to upsell and for how much. But the more services you offer the better. Don’t worry if you cannot provide yourself some of the services. I am also not a SEO specialist. For all the extra services that I cannot do, I outsource. I use ​Fiverr​ for that. I will share with you in my Facebook group all my favourite and regular sellers I use on Fiverr. 3rd Magic Trick “Every great magic show consists of three parts or acts.”

10. So the last part of this method is the biggest. The approach - walk-ins. In the beginning I mentioned that I combine online techniques with an offline approach. I have explained you the online techniques. Now I will get to the offline approach. It is simple. You get of your office chair / kitchen chair / sofa, whatever you are sitting on and trying to succeed online, and you go find your clients. A phrase from the story told by Francis Bacon says, 'If the mountain will not come to Muhammad, then Muhammad must go to the mountain' Don’t panic! It is really much easier than it sounds. Prepare well your offer, print your flyers, look good and representable, grab your laptop bag and START WALKING. At first you might be nervous. So was I. But it only takes you one time to understand that it really isn’t so scary or difficult as it looks like. Just do it. Just one time. And you will see how much more easier it gets with every following business you enter. I started by going to the city next to mine ( I live in Malta, a very small island country, so it wasn’t very far away). I felt more comfortable to do my first walk-in in a neighborhood where people did not know me, and I didn’t know anyone. I just got off the bus, and entered the first place I saw: a shoe store. The ladies behind the counter were very polite, they told me that they were not the owners, so they cannot take decisions regarding that, but they will be happy to give my flyer to their boss. I remember the feeling I got after I exited the store. A huge relief, empowerment , confidence: I said to myself : “This is not so scary as I thought! I can do this! This is amazing!” So without wasting time I entered the shop next to it: an e-cigarette store, then the next one, I went in almost every business on that street, and the next street. In the end of the day I had four interested clients that I had to follow up with examples of a website, and two that needed some other online work done for their business. IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! So this is what i do: Step 1​​.First, before I enter a place: store, restaurant, bar; I go online, right there on the street, and research ​if the place I am about to enter has a website. If they do: I check how good it is, and if it needs more work. If they don’t, most of the places have facebook page instead. I go through it and check what I can offer them extra, beside the website. The research is a very important part.

11. Step 2​​.I enter the establishment.​ I am very polite , and I smile a lot. SMILING is a must in this method. There is nothing that sells better than a good first impression, and positive attitude and smiling gives great first impression. I say something like: - Good morning/day/afternoon. Is there a manager or owner I can talk to? - Then most of the time they ask “​What is this about? - I say:​ My name is Maya, and I am a web designer. I went online and I noticed that you currently don’t have a website / your website is outdated research is before you entered) This is why I said in the previous step that the research is a very important part. Before you throw your offer, you already grab their attention by showing interest in their business. Before they even met you, you show them that you have knowledge about their business, and about their pain points, the possible things they don’t have, but need (a website/better website/ improvement in their Facebook page). You show interest in them and their business. - Then I continue:​ I was wondering, if you would be interested in a FREE WEB DESIGN for your business / updating your website/ improving your Facebook page/etc. At the moment I am establishing my portfolio in Malta (or whatever the city you are waking in), and I have this incredible offer of giving away Free Web Design. - Then I pull the flyer and explain my offer. From this point on depends on how interested the prospect is. If he/she says no thank you, I try to offer then something else and small they might need. If they still say no thank you, I wish them a good day, and continue to the next store. - If they are interested, START DISCUSSING AND ASK QUESTIONS: what exactly do they need, what for. You take as much information as possible. Then you ask for their email, and tell them that you will send them the full offer PLUS an example of what you can do. - You thank them for their time, and you continue to the next business. Step 3​​. VERY IMPORTANT PART OF THIS METHOD IS THE FOLLOW UP.​ After I am done with my walkins, I go home and rest. The next morning, I do my follow up with the businesses that are interested. Based on the information I have gathered, I go on Builderall and choose the right template for the business. I put their logo (if they have, if not, I create one with Canva for free, and offer it to them as an upsell), If necessary I change some of the pictures. I take pictures from their facebook pages, if they have, and use them in the template, where possible. Don’t worry if the pictures are not good quality. What is important here, is that people see their own work and pictures in the website you are trying to sell to them. I create their “example” of a website in less than a hour. 12. NOTE: ​​It is very important, if some reason it takes you longer to sent them an email, to keep in contact with them, by updating them with the progress of your work. People like when you keep in contact. After I am done with the creation of the example website, I write the email. I actually have an email template ready, which I adjust according to the business and the services their interested in. In the email, I include a link to the example-website I have created. Notice, that I already sent them a halfway ready website BEFORE they have paid any money. No, this is not a mistake, nor am I crazy. I can guarantee you that people convert 10 times more, when they actually “feel” , see the product ready. It is hard to say “no”, when you already see how the website will look like, and when it is for such an incredible price. IN 100% of the cases the people are so impressed with the design, and the fact that I did it so fast! IT IS A HOMERUN ! So now you really have their attention. In the beginning, some of the clients are a little bit suspicious. Your offer sounds too good to be true. But their attitude changes drastically after you sent them your follow up email, and they see their future website. They are impressed, excited, and happy that they finally found somebody (or that somebody found them) who can fulfill their online dreams. NOTE:​​ This is a very important moment for you to understand and remember. If you feel nervous, or scared to start walking in business and offering your service, remember this: YOU DON’T NEED THEM, THEY NEED YOU. All the people that became my clients, couldn’t be more happy that I went in their business and found them. It is because I gave them an opportunity to improve their business, and hence-to improve their life. Nowadays, almost all the local business owners understand the necessity of online presence. But for most of them, it is a luxury they cannot afford. My method allows their dreams of having a website and being online to come true. Step 4.​​ 2nd meeting​. After you sent the email, and they showed their interest in ordering your services, you arrange the second meeting. On that meeting, basically, you discuss what their opinion is on the website you delivered, what they want to be changed,added. Most importantly, what other services they might want to add to the website creation. NEVER FORGET the 2nd Magic Trick- the UPPSELLS. The upsell I sell the most is logo creation, and Facebook marketing.

13. After you agreed on all the details, you ask for a downpayment. I ask ​€​100 ,but it is up to you how much you want to take. I give them a receipt from my cashier book. AND VOILA! I walk out with my first money in the pocket! I try to deliver the website within the next week, depending mostly when I do my other walks and meetings. I constantly keep in contact with the customers, asking them for their opinion, etc. When you are done with the website, you arrange a 3rd meeting. In it, you discuss the final touches, and do them over there on the spot. When they are happy with the design, I push the domain to an account in Namecheap on their name, so basically they are the official owners of the domain and the website. They pay the rest of the amount of money. And this is it! Mission accomplished!

14. Elements In this part I will explain you how to setup your fundamentals for your web design agency for the local businesses. Each step will be explained in details. Step 1:​​ Build your agency site. Step 2: ​​Create the flyer Step 3:​​ Action Check the simple mind/road map below so you will fully understand what we are building here and what the goal is. It’s as simple as shown below in the image, don’t start over complicating the steps. Each step will be given you to you on a silver platter. Yes,the exact copies of the elements that I use at the moment. You’re allowed to simply duplicate them and add your own personal twist. Things can not be more clearer and easier made than this. Step 1: Build Your Agency Site Your Agency site can be as simple as a one page website with a short portfolio. If you don't have a portfolio yet, I highly recommend that you use the Builderall templates as example sites

15. of the work that you do. This is how I started, and it worked just fine.I have shared the EXACT list of templates that I use for my clients in the Facebook group. Next to that, it will take you more time to create an impressive site. Stop wasting time on unnecessary actions. Simplicity sells. So go ahead and build your one-page website! Step 2: Create Flyer Now, once you get into action, you will start noticing that many business owners are not in their place of business at all times. This is where the flyer comes into action. Let’s call this the offline version of remarketing. Great, isn’t it? I am attaching the printable file with this product. You could use it the way it is, or create something that fits better to your situation. But this one does the job. I still use it.

16. Tip:​​ Did you notice, that I simply took elements from my offer page, edited a bit here and there, to create the flyer? I did this for two reasons: to save me time, and so that my flyer is consistent with my website /offer page. I used Jing (free screenshot taker) plus​​Paint.net​ to create this flyer. I simply took a screenshot of the elements from my offer page that I wanted to put on the flyer, and then just arranged them together in Paint.net Now once you created your flyer you should print 25-50 flyers at your local copy center for a few cents per copy.

That’s is definitely the mindset that you need to get into before you start walking into local businesses. Works like a charm for your self confidence and it will definitely help your conversions. Never forget, and keep repeating it to yourself: you offer them a life improvement service! You should be more motivated now since you're aware of the main benefits for your own persona AND your clients,so let's get to work! Warning​​: The only thing you need is to get off your comfy seat and step into the real world after you did your online presence preparations.
