  1. SALMONELLA PREVENTION: GOING SCARY TO SAFE Salmonella is a bacteria, which can cause the infection of food-borne, and it is known as salmonellosis. It is a common bacterial disease, which can affect the intestinal tract. These bacteria generally live in human and animal intestines. Humans got infected by the disease frequently by contaminated food or water. Usually, persons with this infection are asymptomatic. And other have some symptoms, such as fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps, within 72 hours. But the people with a sound immune system can recover within few days without any specific treatment. Now, these infections are very much expected. When someone says that he is suffering from food poisoning, they talk about this disease, salmonella. Every year millions of cases are coming about this disease. Causesof Salmonella: Animals and people can bear salmonella in their faeces and intestines. This bacteria can spread by contaminated water and foods. Typically food sources of this bacteria include: ●Undercooked and raw meat, including turkey, chicken, duck, beef, pork and veal. ●Raw vegetables or fruits ●Unpasteurised dairy products such as ice cream, cheese and yoghurt and milk. ●Undercooked and raw eggs. ●Some foods, which are processed, like nut butter and chicken nuggets. Also, you can get the bacteria of this salmonella disease directly from: ●You could pass with the bacteria by not washing your hand after changing a diaper or using a bathroom. ●Animals such as cats, dogs, reptiles and cats also can carry this bacteria.
